Dan
Dan is our Rider Experience Manager here at Cardinal Bicycle, and we love him! He manages our classes and clinics, as well as our bike rental program. Dan is also a Master Level Turbo technician, which is the highest level certification from Specialized to work on their e-bikes. And on top of that, Dan is a Level 2 BICP Mountain Bike Skills instructor.
What's the best part of your job?
I love teaching bike skills. Giving people the confidence to explore and ride better is rewarding on a big level.
How do you stay motivated?
It's my job to help our customers and visitors at Cardinal get stoked on riding. Road, Gravel, or Mountain. It's not hard to stay motivated when I deal in fun!
What do you love about cycling?
I love the pure joy, adrenaline, and clarity I get after a good ride. Nothing beats it.
What's your favorite local bike route?
The Dody/Spec loop. There's nothing like a National Forest loop.
What's your best cycling memory?
My first trip down “The Whole Enchilada” with my best friends. Perfect weather, perfect trails, and good people is impossible to top.
