Tuesday (Grandin Village)

5:45pm - Tuesday Road Ride
Cardinal Bicycle Grandin Village

Classic 4-Crossings: Advanced (but social) ride with one or two regroup points. Riders must know the route. Expect climbing. This group will often split into two or more groups out on the road.

Flatlanders: Beginner-friendly ride that sticks to the Greenway and routes with less elevation. No rider left behind! This is the perfect ride if you are new to cycling and want to meet some friendly faces!

**If you are looking for a smaller more relaxed no-drop group, check out our NEW Thursday ride at our Orange Ave location (starts March 26).

Wednesday (Grandin Village)

6:00pm - Ride With Billy
Cardinal Bicycle Grandin Village

Enjoy a casual and social ride on the Greenway and quiet neighborhood streets. No experience necessary. This is a great place to learn and ask questions. All you need is a bike and a helmet.

Thursday (Orange Ave)

6:00pm - Thursday Drop Bar Ride
Cardinal Bicycle Orange Ave

Starts March 26

This intermediate ride will use local roads, greenways, and the Blue Ridge Parkway to create 20-30 mile rides with less than 100 ft of climbing per mile. This ride will regroup at all turns to allow everyone to enjoy the ride. View the Route.

The Third Thursday of each month will include a group riding clinic before the ride. We talk about how to ride in a group and group ride etiquette. This ride is a great intro to getting more comfortable riding with a group.

Saturday (Grandin Village)

9:30am - Singletrack Shinanigans
Cardinal Bicycle Grandin Village

This ride explores mountain bike trails, gravel roads, and as little asphalt as possible as we meander our way along the local trail systems. You can ride a mountain bike, a mountain E-bike or maybe—just maybe—a gravel bike. These are no-drop rides. Rides are typically between 3-5 hours with 3,000 to 5,000 feet of climbing. There are usually bail-out options if you are running out of time or just want a shorter ride. Some trips may include a rest stop but bring plenty of food and water.
