We're building the future of cycling in Roanoke and we need your help. We want to create an inclusive and supportive space where diverse cyclists from all backgrounds and experience levels can grow and thrive, but we can't do it alone!

Ambassador & Mentor Program Details:
Our ambassadors will be leaders, teachers, cheerleaders and friends to folks who accept the challenge of showing up from week-to-week. As we all know, showing up is the hardest part!
We are looking for a range of experience from enthusiastic greenway rider to competitive downhill mountain biker, as we intend to have rides and events that cater to all levels.
Ambassadors will be expected to assist with a minimum of four Cardinal Bicycle hosted events each month. This includes weekly rides, instruction classes, training programs, guided trips, representing as a racer, and volunteering at Cardinal-sponsored events. In exchange for your time and community support you will receive discounts, free swag, and a cycling family to call your very own. See below for details.
What is Expected:
- Ambassadors will be expected to assist with a minimum of four Cardinal Bicycle hosted events each month. This includes weekly rides, instruction classes, training programs, guided trips, representing as a racer, and volunteering at Cardinal-sponsored events.
- We ask all ambassadors to comment and engage with us on social media, and tag us in cycling photos whenever relevant.
- Encourage friends and family to participate in weekly events.
- Ambassador performance will be reviewed periodically to ensure you are meeting expectations.
Ambassador Perks:
- 10% off at both Cardinal Bicycle locations (excludes bikes and labor).
- Free Cardinal branded swag so you can represent upon being accepted into the program.
- 50% off sizing and fitting services.
- $1 off beer, wine and coffee 24/7 at the Cardinal Cafe.
- If you have fulfilled your requirements for three months, you earn a free Cardinal Bicycle jersey.
- Additional benefits will be awarded at anniversary's and future reward milestones TBD.
